The Chank snail is in the univalve species and is a predator attacking seastars and smaller bivalves for food it travels through the sand feeling its way with a projection called a proposcius when it feels its prey it will grab the animal with its giant foot and "hold on" as it drills a hole into the shell in which it excretes an enzyme that dissolves the prey, then the Chank sucks the animal out through the hole which it created.
