Sand Dollars

They inherited the name because of their round flat shape, which is similar to a large coin. They are also known as sea cookies or snapper biscuits. A live sand dollar will live on top of or just beneath the surface of sandy or muddy areas in the ocean. They are often dried in the sun which bleaches them white. Then a hardening agent is applied to help with their fragility. Two types of sand dollars for sale.  Each one sold separately.
